Re: The Neighbour's Dream
In October 2007 The Neighbour's Dream was submitted to Screen West Midlands along with several other Comedy Monologues (a couple of which are still on this site). They were submitted as part of an application for a grant to adapt the Comedy Monologues into a screenplay.
The rejection along with grounds for rejection arrived a few weeks ago but I didn't read it until today. I was shocked to discover when I did that part of the plot was misunderstood. Because of this I want to make it clear to the readers of this site that I in no way intended for it to appear that The Neighbour (Rob Greenie) had anything other than a caring and platonic relationship with his pet rabbit.
In view of this misunderstanding I reviewed the script and rewrote it to ensure that this misunderstanding could never happen again.
